The graph below shows the cost (C) of packets of juice (N).
Complete the formula: C=___N
I have two answers for this, but I'm not sure which one is correct. Hare are my answers:
(1) C= k*N (k stands for constant)
C=180, N=12
180=k*12
180/12=k
15=k
C=15*N
Ans= C=15N
(2) C=k*N
C= 180, N= 18
180=k*18
180/18=k
10=k
C=10*N
Ans= C= 10N
Which answer is correct?
Ok, maybe I can't make you see the graph, but I can tell you what's on it. Ok, on the X axis it is labelled Number of Juice (N) Y axis is labelled Cost in Rupees (C). On the X axis it starts at 0 then goes on to 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18. And on the Y axis it starts at 0 and goes on to 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180. It's a line graph. Now the line starts at 0 and goes up to 180 and is in line with 12, it doesn't go on to 18. Is that a good description?
