An isosceles triangle where tho of the sides have the length 2x + 3, and the third side has the length 2x ?

The perimeter is 36 cm.

2(2x + 3) + 2x = 36      Solve the paranthesis:

4x + 6 + 2x = 36      Subtract (-) 6 from both sides:

4x + 2x = 30     Add the X'es together

...

...

What a disappointment, I thought at least we were going to be asked for the angles of the triangle.
