I want you to at least have a go at starting this yourself.
Let the area of the Sahara desert be S million square km and
Let the area of the Australian desert be A million square km

Set up 2 separate equations to describe the 2 facts that you have been given.

(Just an annoyance but there is NO desert called the Australian desert)
