When taking down, recalling and working through the mass of information these science subjects pile on some (my self included) develop a severe case of cacograpuy.

What worked for you to overvome your poor handwriting and/or spelling and/or notation?

Hello AzizHusain,

I prefer writing in cursive, so my writing is slanted more often than not:)

And answering Stu's original question:

For improving spelling and grammar, I would suggest the (apparently) old-fashioned way of reading more.  Believe it or not, you will subconciously improve those skills. And of course, CPhill's way is worth a shot, too!

By never using big words like "cacography"

My handwriting is not that good compared to my family...I have used the computer too much and most of the assignments are all done online except for labs! But, if I write more on paper, then it will definitely improve. Basically, just write a sentence several times and see if the position of the letters gets better.

For spelling, I would use online material..also it might help for vocabulary, too! You could also use those online grammar and spelling websites that have flashcards and interactive games! Also, games that involve typing words correctly are fun!

But I like how you write, AzizHusain!

It looks professional to me!

But, that is because I use a writing tablet and my handwriting is still not that good. I must practice more with it!

But anyway, my writing becomes slanted as I write more (like in one line, for example)! Does that happen for any of you?

Oh, cursive. I haven't written that way in a while..maybe that's why. I remember some of those crazy styles that look like art! Thanks, kitty!
