Trinomial: 9x^2+30xy+25y^2

 

I am horrible when it comes to Trinomial Factoring.

9x^2+30xy+25y^2

This is a perfect square trinomial that is easily factored

Take the square  root of the first term  = 3x

Take the square root of the last term = 5y

Write them in a set of parenthses with a  " + " sign between them

(3x + 5y)     .....now......add an exponent of 2 to the proceedings, thusly :

(3x + 5y)^2     voila !!!!

Factoring trinomials is kind of an art.....recognizing certain forms makes things easier.......hang in there and practice......!!!!
