Does anyone know how to solve this equation to find M?

I know how to do it using a calculator but not quite understanding how to solve for the /powers when the results come up as 1^-11*10 (and the like).

F=GMm/d^2

Re-arrange --> M=Fd^2/Gm

Substitute --> M=12*(4*10^-6)^2/6.67*10^-11*1

F=12

G=6.67*10^-11

m=1

d=4*10^-6

--> d^2=(4*10^-6)^2

M=?

Thank you <3

F = [GMm] / d^2

12 =[6.67E-11 * M * 1] / (4E-6)^2

Solve for M:
12 = 4.16875 M

12 = 4.16875 M is equivalent to 4.16875 M = 12:
4.16875 M = 12

Divide both sides by 4.16875
M = 2.87856 - Mass units

Substitute --> M=12*(4*10^-6)^2/6.67*10^-11*1

M =[12 * 1.6E-11] / 6.67E-11

M= 1.92E-10 / 6.67E-11

M = 2.87856 - Mass units
