studying for a test and I am pretty sure I am doing something wrong because I am not getting the answer I'm supposed to be getting could someone help me?

Solve by using the quadratic formula. Leave all answers in exact form.

Quadratic forumula = -b+or-√b^2 - 4ac / 2a

1.

m^2 + 20m = -51

2.

2t + 7t - 4 = 0

3.

1/6x^2 + 1/2x + 9 = 13

4.

2.4x^2 - 8.4x - 18 = 0

Make sure you are using the Quadratic Formula like this:

\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)

and not as you wrote it in your question.......if you still get wrong answers , respond to this post....

for the first one   a =1  b = 20  c = 51       (make sure your quadratic is in the form  a x^2  + b x +c = 0   )
