Use the Inverse Function Property to determine whether f and g are inverses of each other.

f(x) = x − 7;    g(x) = x + 7

The inverse function property is likely the one that says that if two functions f and g are inverses of one another then f(g(x))=g(f(x))=x  Lets test it!

f(g(x))=f(x+7)=(x+7)-7=x   It checks out so these functions are indeed inverses of one another.
