I'm trying to work out by how much times is the earth's volume greater than the moon (assuming they're spherical). I can work out the volumes fine but don't know how to use to the power of 10 in this calculator - if anyone could explain to me step by step to do it, I'd be very grateful!

Might depend on your calculator

say you want 6*10^12

6 exp 12 =

0r, like 'essexdal' said
6 10 x 12 =

or
6*10^12 but this is the worst way!
