What is the greatest whole number that must be a divisor of the product of any three consecutive positive integers?
I think the answer should be 6.
In every three consecutive integers, one of them must be a multiple of three. And there must be at least one multiple of two as well. So 3 x 2 = 6.
I hope this helped.
Thx!
I suppose 6?
1 x 2 x 3 = 6
2 x 3 x 4
3 x 4 x 5
4 5 6
