2 times 2 however is 4

22 times 22 means that both the numbers have to be multiplied so well do it like this ;

22 x 22 =484 ANSWER

rosala....22!   is read as '22 factorial"  .....it represents the product of the first 22 positive integers = 22*21*20*.......*3*2*1

This is a really big number...so 22! * 22!  is WAY larger !!!....see my answer above.....

Hi Rosala,

there is an x! button on all scientific calculators.  It is used  mainly for probability questions.

See if you can find it. 

Question:  If you wanted to know how many different ways seven different books can be ordered on one book shelf this is how you do it

There are seven books that can go in the 1st spot.

Then there are 6 books left for the second spot

Then there are 5 books that can go into the third spot.

so the answer is 7*6*5*4*3*2*1 = 7!

Use your calculator to tell me what the answer is.
