We know that 3 can be represented as 3/1.

5/3 / 3 = 5/3 / 3/1.

We also know that you can multiply the dividend by the reciprocal of the divisor.

Now we can multiply what's on top by what's on top, and what's on the bottom by what's on the bottom.
