Since x = -4, simply plug in -4 into the expression 9x:

9x

= 9 * x

= 9 * -4

= -36

Edit: dragonslayers can be fast sometimes! No worries, DS.

Multiply 9 by 4 first.

$${\mathtt{9}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{4}} = {\mathtt{36}}$$

Now, put the negative sign and you get your final answer...

$${\mathtt{Answer}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{36}}$$

Hope it helps!

I know, kitty<3. You always want the answer so fast, that you do a mistake in posting it. Thanks for telling the public. I sometimes do common mistakes.
