What is the answer when any positive number is divided by a number bigger than 1, the answer is: i) the same ii) always bigger iii) always smaller iv) sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller

I would say "iii) always smaller"

 

Say you had 9 and you divided that number by 6 (a number bigger than 1)

You would get 1.5, which is smaller than 9.

Say you had a number bigger than 9 though, like 100,000. You still get a number smaller than 9, because you get 0.00009.

I would argue any other number that you divide 9 by would be smaller than 9.
