What is the degree measure of angle A?

26.6 degrees 63.4 degrees 30.0 degrees 60.0 degrees

I cannot paste the picture, but i do know that this is what i am supposed to do:

M<A=TAN-1(0.5)

I have tried typing it in the calculator, but i keep getting the wrong answers.

I tried another that is inside of my textbook which is:

TAN-1=(0.75)

their answer comes out to 36.869898

I keep getting:

0.93156945994

What in the world am i doing wrong?

Tan^-1(x)=0.75 means that some number gives 0.75 radians we can work this out by doing

Tan(0.75) IN RADIANS remeber is equal to 0.931596459944 which you are correct,

There is an error in the book i think you meant to type

Tan^-1(0.75)=x which x=36.869898 so it's either the books fault or a type from you
