Let's find the zeroes (where the function crosses the x axis)
Factor as
(x - 2) ( x + 1) = 0
Set each factor to 0 and solve for x
x - 2 = 0 x + 1 = 0
x = 2 x = -1
Notice that the graph on the bottom left appears to be correct !!!!
the left corner one should be the answer because...
f(x)=x^2-x-2
f(0) = 0^2-0-2 which is -2 plug numbers in
the bottom left is the only one with points (0,-2)
