Think about this, rosala.....

10m /sec

The world record for the 100m dash is just under 10 seconds.....

So....if a person ran about 10m every second, wouldn't he/she cover 100m in about 10 seconds???   10m/sec x 10 sec ???

Does that seem sensible???

It couldn't possibly be 10 miles per minute...that's 600 miles per hour .........

No DragonSLayer your answer is wrong , not a single being (even if its the fastest runner of the world) can run 10 kilometers per second!

According to me i think the answer is " 10 miles per minute " ! Becoz this is the most accurate given option which has a matching between the time and the speed of the runner!

Well...10 centimeters per hour would be about as fast as a snail

And 10 kilometers per second would be 1000 meters per second !!!

Which answer seems to make sense???

There are about 39.37 inches in a meter

And 3 feet = 36 inches = 1 yd

So......

(39.36 / 36)yds  * 3feet/1yd   = about 3.28 feet in a meter
