Why is 1/0 equal to infinity?

its not equal to infinity! its equal to UNDEFINED! you cannot divide anything by 0! otherwise your calculator would say it is undefined!

so, it's not infinity, it's undefined, because you can't divide anything by 0!

But undefined can sound a lot like infinity if you don't hear the person saying it correctly...😉
