Math is OK but when it gets to stuff like calculus it gets annoying and hard...

Nope.

One day I feel that my Maths teacher is so bad at teaching and I start to self-study and I still get high grades/marks. 

Then I start to think that self-study is fun, everyone is asking me how did I get high marks with that teacher teaching me. And then I start to self-study some maths which is not in my syllabus. I am now learning Calculus and I am just 14 :)
