Maybe I am misunderstanding the question :/

 

If you fill up all the little boxes first that is 5*10=50b***s

there are 49 b***s left to go into the big boxes

49/8 = 6 full boxes plus one ball left over

 

So that is 10 little boxes full and 6 big ones full = 16 full boxes

so, 1 large box equals 10 b***s to fit in

1 small box equals 5 b***s

theres 99 b***s to place

fill all 10 large boxes and your 99 b***s fit, with   1 more ball available

fill all 10 small boxes equals 50 b***s in place, and use 5 of the boxes to place the rest

overall, 10 small boxes and 5 large boxes aka 15 boxes are the largest number of boxes you can fill

the large box turned out to carry 8 b***s, not 10. i think i ve been seeing too many 10s the last few weeks
