How fast did the universe expand at the absolute start? The numbers I have are: In one trillionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a second, the universe was already .84 inches in radius. So, how fast was the expansion?

If you assume that the size of the Universe, before big bang, was about 10^-40 meters, then

10^-40 * e^x =.84, solve for x

x~90, or about 132 doublings in 10^-36 seconds!!.
