Good spotting Alan :)
Anon, if you can remember that slope is rise/run then it is easy because only the y values can go up or down!
So the y values MUST be on the top!
Nice answering Mr Omega :)
Welcome to the forum.
arc tan is the same as inverse tan so use [2nd] atan
That looks like a lot of work Chris :)
Do you understand all that Brittany - I guess if you don't you will soon say so :)
$$\frac{\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{7}}{\sqrt{8}+\sqrt{7}}\\\\ =\frac{(\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{7})(\sqrt{8}-\sqrt{7})}{(\sqrt{8}+\sqrt{7})(\sqrt{8}-\sqrt{7})}\\\\ =\frac{\sqrt{16}-\sqrt{14}+\sqrt{56}-7}{(8-7)}\\\\ =\frac{4-\sqrt{14}+\sqrt{4*14}-7}{(1)}\\\\ =4-\sqrt{14}+2\sqrt{14}-7\\\\ =-3+\sqrt{14}\\\\ =\sqrt{14}-3\\\\$$
Who knows .... CPhill knows !!!!!
I've never had banana pie but it sounds good and it looks delicious :)
