I actually do sympathize with you Rosala. I have never read this particular Dickens book but I did have to study others when I was a school. I DID read them but I did not particularly enjoy reading them. Mind you some of the other books we had to read were definitely worse.
A Tale of Two Cities does have a trememdous amount of history in it. So that alone makes it better than some of the others. At least you get to learn something.
