Little Cone
V = (1/3*pi*2 ²*4) + ( 1/2 * 4/3pi * 2 ³)
V = 5.33pi + 5.33pi
V = 10.66pi
V = 33.49 inches cubed
$3.50/33.49 inches cubed = 10.5 cents/inch cubed

Big Cone
V = (1/3*pi*2 ²*6) + ( 1/2 * 4/3pi * 2 ³)
V = 8pi + 5.33pi
V = 13.33pi
V = 41.88 inches cubed
$5.50/41.88 inches cubed = 13.1 cents/inch cubed

Therefore the little cone is better value. (Unless you are hungary and it is your parent's money)

12 x 4 = 48

59 divided by 12 = 4 with 11 left over

59 months = 4 whole years and 11 months

which is nearly 5 years.

Hello Andre,

Within the forum we have been discussing the possibility of getting LaTex embedded into the site. This would make the site better for everyone. The answers would be better and we would attract more high level people to answer questions.

It is thought that Mathjax is the best choice. It is thought to be the recent favourite of other forums. This is what one member, 'I like Serena' had to say concerning it.

The Apache License (/əˈpætʃi/) is a free software license written by the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). The Apache License requires preservation of the copyright notice and disclaimer. If it is installed in the web site, we could type latex with [tex][/tex] tags around it. Possibly with alternative tags like dollars.”

Another member 'Dms' also added.
“Could admin also install a mod on this forum like http://www.mayer.dial.pipex.com/tex.htm. So we can quote mathematical equations easily.”

Unfortunately I do not have any personal knowledge of what is best but could you please

Good evening all,
I had almost the whole day off. Many thanks are extended to Rom, Dms, Alan and mtho for this.
I think this was the closest day to a holiday that i have had since I joined on 28th Sept 2013.
It was wonderful to take a break and to know that the forum was left good hands.

idkman joined today. We welcome you and we hope that you like it here.

Unfortunately there was a case of extreme rudeness today. It is most unforunate when this happens.
The fact that people can post without becoming a member first makes this type of behaviour much more likely to occur.
It is a real pity. My sincere appology is extended to the person involved.

Thankyou ILS and Dms and reinout-g for you contributions towards Latex. I have yet to contact Andre Massow.
