Ninja has asked a question.

"This distance/displacement question does looks interesting.

What I needed to find was the area between the curve (line) and the time (horizontal) axis.

The shape of this area is a triangle so I used the formula for the area of a triangle, THAT is where the 0.5 came from.

Maybe you could do a one off Ninja and pop this into the great answers to learn thread and pop it in under Physics? If you don't it doesn't matter.

I also did some research on that Infinite Loop road sign.

There is a place in Western Australia called Useless Loop!

I've been there, or at least I have been to Monkey Mia which is nearby.

Monkey Mia is famous for its very tame wild dolphins.

They come right into shore and can be feed and petted by well, anyone. (Except they are not very hungry)

I think that is my shoulder in the photo. This really is a wild dolphin.
