good question?
choice of value for 0^0 is set by convention
however, the convention for some may differ to the convention of others
some have 0^0 set by convention as = 1 others declare it an indefinite form
the argument likely still rages? i prefer the former "convention"
i'm uncertain of the "why" for math2.0cal's choice
