i got 1.33 × 10-5 on a scientific calculator as the answer of a question i am wanting to know what it is as a normal number ? thanks for the help

The exponent is the amount of places you move the decimal, the sign of the exponent tells you what direction to move the decimal. When you see 10 (or e) to a negative exponent in scientific notation, that means you will be moving the decimal left. If the exponent is positive, move the decimal to the right. 

In 1.33 X 10^-5  The decimal moves left 5 places.

.0000133 is the standard form
