The way ratios and the related fractions are expressed is quite confusing.  ://

Divide the real car length by 40

Ths whole is 10 units long.    The longer peice is  7/10

I think it's; 3+7=10

3/10*1.5=0.45m    =45cm     Yes that is definitely correct
