1. Angle ABC is taken by a dilation with center P and scale factor 3 to angle A'B'C'. The measure of angle ABC is 21°. What is the measure of angle A'B'C'?
Do not include units (degrees) in your answer.
5. A polygon has a perimeter of 18 units. It is dilated with a scale factor of 3/2. What is the perimeter of its image?
1. Not sure about this one, GM......but the dilation of an angle only changes the length of each of the "arms" of the angle, but does not change its measure
So A'B'C' also measures 21 [ I think ]
2. New perimeter = scale factor x old perimeter = (3/2) * 18 = 27 units
