Correct me if I'm wrong somebody. I'm not 100% sure with my answer, but this is how I solved this:

$$[(1+x)^{200}]^{\frac{1}{200}}=2000^{\frac{1}{200}$$

$$1+x =1.03873592$$

$$x=0.03873592$$

--------------------------

When you plug .03873592 into the equation: (1+x)200 = 2000

you get the number 2000.000018 which is REALLY close to 2000.

Again, I'm not sure of my answer so sorry guys if I'm wrong :/
