Can someone please check me?

I think the answer is x=12

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

12−x=−3x+36

Simplify both sides of the equation.

12−x=−3x+36

12+−x=−3x+36

−x+12=−3x+36

Add 3x to both sides.

−x+12+3x=−3x+36+3x

2x+12=36

Subtract 12 from both sides.

2x+12−12=36−12

2x=24

 Divide both sides by 2.

2x=24

2     2

x=12

Answer:

x=12

(this may not be right but it was kinda confusing...)

To check if x = 12 is correct, substitute this value back into the original equation and see if the left-hand side equals the right hand side.
