OK...I see ...there are no  "problems" here

 

RP's answer to the first one is correct  !!!

 

For the second

 

No.....the inverse of a function is not always a function.......for instance...the inverse of 

 

y  = x^2   is      f -1(x)  =  ±√x

 

This does not pass the vertical line test....so it will not be a function
