16 ÷ 4(4)              Do the division first, because it is to the left of the multiplication.

=  (16 ÷ 4)(4)

=  (4)(4)

= 16

According to BODMAS rule, Division should be first done before the multiplication.

So, 16÷4×4=4×4 {Bodmas rule}
