2 2/9 - 2/3

4/9-2/3

4/9-6/9=-2/9

You have to first find a common denominator. List out the multiples of 3 and 9.

3: 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30...

9:9,18,27,...

9 is the simplest.

Multiply 2/3 by 3 and you will get 6/9.

2 2/9 - 6/9= 1 5/9

Please correct any mistakes I may have made.
