Either box can be selected first

If the first box is the first one selected

(3/7)(2/6)  =   6/42  = 1/7

If the second box is selected first

(4/7) (3/6) = 12/42  =  2/7

So...the combined probabilities =   1/7 + 2/7  = 3 / 7
