250000 in standard form? 

 

A typical calculator doesn't display exponents, so if the number of digits in the number exceeds the capacity of the calculator display, then instead of showing 2.5 • 105 it would show as 2.5 e5.  The "e" meaning that that's the exponent of ten.

Pretty sure it would just be 250000*10^0 on a scientific calculator.
