multiply both sides by 3 to get rid of that 3 in the denominator

2x = 3(x+2)/2

multiply both sides by 2

4x = 3(x+2)

remove the brackets, using the distributive law

4x = 3x+6

subtract 3x from both sides

and you can finish it ...
