So i'm doing my homework and I need a little help. I can't find the answer to this equation: 3-3y=x Can someone help me?

Well, there are only two things you can do with it; either solve for "x" or "y": So, we have:

x=3 - 3y

 

Solve for y:
3 -3y = x

Subtract 3 from both sides:
-3 y = x-3

Divide both sides by -3:
Answer: | y =1 - x/3
