=3\times-5\times -8\\
=120\\$$

lets do it like this;

3 times - 5 times means 3x-5x  and -2 to the power of 3 means -2³

so ;3x-5x-2³

=-2x-8

thats the answer i believe ! 

actually that x came from my confusing head , u know ive recently got the habbit of thinking the right answer and then thinking some more and writing the wrong one! the answer u got is the same one i got ! by the way thanks for the right way ! thumbs up,!
