3 times 8/3? I don't understand how to do this.
I got 8/3 by getting 2.66666666667 in fraction form, but in order to dilate a rhombus I need to know what 3 will measure after being dilated by 8/3. Just in case I already have this right, 3 goes over 1; 3/1, and 8/3 stays the same. You then cross-multiply the two fractions and simplify the remaining fraction or leave the answer. So, 24/3 = 8? Is that correct in terms of dilation of a side? (•→•)????
