You made a caresless error anon.  So it is not quite right :(

 

30140×\frav16=314×16=114×12=128

(30/140) x (1/6)

30/140 becomes 3/14

 

(3/10) x (1/6)

to multiply fractions, you multiply the numerators together and the denominators together.

 

(3x1)/(10x6)

3/60 <=> 1/20

the answer is 1/20
