Pemdas?
ohhhhhhhh i get it now
(please excuse my dear aunt sally=parenthesees, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction)
even though i sort of got it right. Dang those decimal places always are so tiny to catch. Its like the sad tears of a jolly beetle!
Plaease excuse my dear aunt sally. I need to talk to her for not teaching me pemdas correctly.
just to rephrase it, i got the perfect equation setup
303.92*(10^9)/11.2*(10^6)
10^9=1,000,000,000
10^6=1,000,000
303.92*1,000,000,000=303920000000
11.2*1,000,000=11200000
303920000000/11200000=27135.7142857142857143
answer=27135.7142857142857143
Ok KidDanger BUT
if you use order of operation correctly (that's PEDMAS) then
303.92*10^9 /11.2*10^6
actually means
$${\frac{{\mathtt{303.92}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{\mathtt{10}}}^{{\mathtt{9}}}}{{\mathtt{11.2}}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{\mathtt{10}}}^{{\mathtt{6}}} = {\mathtt{27\,135\,714\,285\,714\,285.714\: \!285\: \!714\: \!285\: \!714\: \!3}}$$
