First, find the height of the cylinder to be 2 * sqrt(22.75) = 9.539 units ( see image below)
Cylinder surface area = pi 2r h + 2 * pi r^2 r = 1.5 for the cylinder h = 9.539 units
Sphere surface area 4 pi r^2 r = 5 for the sphere
Add them together for your answer.............
