-(3x-2)=-4(x+1)-4

 

how do i solve for x? thanks.

1- Remove the parantheses on the left side of the equation. 2- Multiply 4 by what's inside the parantheses on the right side of the equation. 

You'll have: -3x+2=-4x-4-4 which makes 

10=-x or x=-10
