We can use long division to answer this question:

    3x^2 -7x -4
  ------ ------ ------ ------ ------
  | 3x^3 +2x^2 -25x -12
x+3 ------
  - (3x^3 +9x^2)
    -3x^3 -9x^2
    ------ ---------
    0 -7x^2 -25x
    - (-7x^2 -21x)
      7x^2 +21x
      -------- ------
      0 -4x -12
      - (-4x -12)
        4x +12
        0 0

Therefore, \(\frac{3x^3+2x^2-25x-12}{x+3}=3x^2-7x-4\hspace{1mm},\hspace{1mm}x\neq-3\)
