4(-4-2)/2--2 Subtract 2 from -4.

4(-6)/2--2 Multiply 4 times -6.

-24/2--2 Divide -24 by 2.

-12--2 Since you're subtracting a negative, you are esentially adding a positive.

So -12--2 can be written as -12+2.

-12+2 Add 2 to -12

-10 is your answer. Hope this helped.
