4/5 * 1 1/6 equals 14/15. Turn  1 1/6 into a improper fraction and the improper form would be 7/6. Just in case: 1 1/6 to 7/6 is denominator * numerator plus the whole number :1 *6 +1 =7 After you have the #7 you just get the denominator in placement of your improper fraction's denominator. After you have 7/6 you multiply it to 4/5. You can simplify. $${\frac{{\mathtt{7}}}{{\mathtt{6}}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}\left({\frac{{\mathtt{4}}}{{\mathtt{5}}}}\right)$$ which for this problem you can only do it to 4 and 6. 4 =2 and 6= 3. Multiply 7*2 which =14 and 3*5 which =15. Total : 14/15
