(4+√3)/(5-√6)

Let's see if we can "un-stump" you

(4+√3)/(5-√6)     multiply the denominator and the numerator bty the conjugate of the

denominator, i.e., 5 + √6....so we have

(4+√3)/(5-√6)  * (5 + √6) / (5 + √6) =

(20 + 5√3 - 4√6 -√18) /( 25 - 6) =

(20 + 5√3 - 4√6 - √(9*2) ) / 19 =

(20 + 5√3 - 4√6 - 3√2 ) / 19

And that's it.......mutiplying by the conjugate just gets the root out of the denominator....
