A base station is located in an urban environment, and the power per square metre at 100m is measured to be 4µW/m2. What would be a reasonable value to expect at 200m? (You will have to make an assumption to calculate your answer. State the assumption you make.)

read up on attenuation laws.

use inverse cube model for twice the distance. 4 x 1/8 = 0.5uW/m2

i think so, it's the same for the previous answer, but just the inverse square model (1/4).

no need for sphere areas.
