See my other answer.....this is a vertical hyperbola

The equation is

(y - 1)^2    -    x^2

_______        ___     = 1

    4                  1

The center is   (0, 1)

The   vertices are   at     ( 0,  1  - 2)  =  (0, -1)      and   (0, 1 + 2)  =  (0, 3)
